Chatham takes pride in their history and their small town character. As Main Street is the central business district, there are many shops, apartment complexes, and small industrial areas. From late June to mid November, you can enjoy the Farmer’s Market located at Railroad station for New Jersey grown food and goods! The summer is filled with events like the Fishawack Festival, Fishing Derby at Kelley’s Pond, the Sustainability Fair, Fourth of July Parade and carnivals!
Chatham is filled with tons of parks! From tennis/basketball courts, baseball/softball/lacrosse fields, and even a pool! There are various trails, picnic areas, and dog-friendly areas, whether it’s Shepard Kollock Park, Memorial Park, Memorial Pool Park, Lum Field, Garden Park, or Stanley Park.
